The Armory Facts

Washington Avenue Armory is Albany New York's premier mid-size entertainment, sports, and meeting facility! Our capabilities range from professional, college & high school basketball games to concerts, trade shows, circuses, and flea markets. This range of capabilities also encompasses 4,000 person conventions and antique shows to professional boxing and wrestling.

Show Power

Three 400 amp, 3 phase rear end of stage; Two 200 amp, 3 phase 25' from center stage. Three 400 amp, 3 phase on side walls.

House Lighting

300 watt incandescent house lights, 750 metal halide arena lighting and manual spotlight

Sound

State of the Art Bose Arena sound system, acoustically designed by Bose engineers. Public address system controlled at balcony level sound room, and court-side during sporting events.

Dressing Rooms

Three star dressing rooms, Two locker rooms, Show office, Green room

Loading & Unloading

Service entrance at the front of the building dimensions are 8' x 8' 6"

Equipment Rental

The Armory has a 50' man lift, spotlights, and A/V equipment for rent. Additionally, The Armory has two Jumbotrons 12' x 16' for rent.

Box Office Services

Ticketmaster automated system, Washington Avenue Armory with three outlets in the area. Charge by phone using Visa, MasterCard or American Express.

Parking

2,000 parking spaces within a 4-block radius.

Security, Ushering, First Aid & Janitorial Services

Provided by Armory at an additional charge.
